Biography
Daniel Schuardt is an Australian Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belt and elite no-gi grappler from Melbourne, Australia. A black belt under Lachlan Giles, he earned the rank in March 2021 after beginning his training in 2011.
Schuardt is known for a precise and technical submission-oriented style built through years of high-level competition. A standout performer on the ADCC circuit, he is an ADCC Trials champion and has consistently performed at the highest level of international submission grappling.
Alongside his competitive career, Schuardt is an experienced coach at Precision MMA in Melbourne, where he helps develop the next generation of grapplers. He has also spent time training internationally, including sessions in the United States under John Danaher, further refining his approach among some of the best no-gi athletes in the world. Schuardt continues to compete actively while contributing to the growth of Australian jiu-jitsu both as an athlete and instructor.
