Over the years, competing successfully at several major no-gi events, Espinosa has established himself as one of the most consistent and methodical athletes in modern no-gi grappling, known for his calm, detail-oriented approach and ability to funnel opponents into high-percentage submission sequences.

Espinosa rose to prominence through strong performances on the IBJJF and professional circuits, capturing major no-gi titles at the 2025 IBJJF Pan and European Championships. His technical consistency and disciplined strategy have made him a staple competitor across elite submission-focused platforms, including WNO, where his style aligns closely with FloGrappling's action-oriented rule set.
