Biography
Owen Livesey is a British grappler and former elite judoka known for his powerful clinch work, dynamic throws, and ability to translate high-level judo into modern submission grappling. A multiple-time British judo champion and Commonwealth Games gold medalist, Livesey built his foundation on explosive takedowns and top pressure before transitioning fully into professional no-gi competition.
After moving into submission grappling, Livesey quickly made a name for himself by competing against some of the best athletes in the world on major stages such as Polaris, GrappleFest, ADCC, and the Craig Jones Invitational. His matches against top-tier opponents showcased his evolving submission defense, strong wrestling-judo hybrid style, and ability to impose physical, high-pressure grappling in no-gi settings.
